EXHIBITIONS
 ...closely intertwined threads

Exhibitions are a moment in the story of what has touched my sensibilities over a period of time. They are the epilogue of a journey, after that one narrates experiences, encounters, feelings... one fixes the colours, the flavours, the fragrances that have characterized the moments... one reminds of the hopes and expectations... one compares the awareness of contradictions and difficulties... and one feels the urge to change which the new discoveries have triggered...

On the one hand this is a way to pass to others what we experienced, and on the other this is a way to process and secure in ourselves the stages of the path travelled...
At the same time, they are also intertwined threads with the power to invisibly bind souls who do not know each other... but who feel that they can share something deep…

.. my hope, my belief is that this path of experiences will be of help to others who have gone in search of themselves...
... just as a breadcrumb trail can lead us to the right road to take...

When I set up an exhibition, I try to create a short voyage into the emotions, the feelings, the deep intimacy of ourselves...

The setting of my works, installations involved, the preparation that I stage are but a series of effects of that which is, for me, the main point of the show:
the flow of energy and emotions with the audience. This is a magical time of contact between souls who, despite their diversity and uniqueness, realize then and there that they not alone...

Social media has proposed a solution to modern man's problem of loneliness, allowing people to connect with the world. But I do not think that this has resolved the main question:
our loneliness does not cease to exist just because we have exchanged messages, photographs... perhaps we feel less alone when parts of our souls are exchanged. However, this assumes that, in order to share this most intimate part of ourselves with other, we are in touch with it...

Seen thus, I believe that
art is a powerful key for connecting with oneself, with one's soul.

To connect with the world is as easy as a click and a few pre-set sentences. To connect with oneself requires more effort, it requires willingness, dedication, courage...
